The Echo (4th Gen) combines premium room-filling sound with Alexa voice control and a built-in smart home hub, all in a spherical design. It delivers clear highs, dynamic mids, and deep bass, with sound that automatically adapts to the acoustics of your room.
Beyond music, Echo serves as a central smart assistant—streaming from services like Amazon Music, Spotify, and TuneIn, answering questions, reading the news, checking the weather, and managing alarms or timers. With its Zigbee hub, it can directly connect to and control compatible smart home devices such as lights, locks, and sensors, making setup simpler.
Privacy is a core feature, with multiple protections including a Microphone Off button to physically disable listening when you choose. The international version is optimized for English (US) and Español (US) for the best Alexa experience, though some features like Alexa Guard, Amazon Kids, and In-skill purchases may not be available in all regions.
