All Matter Secondary Network Interface Products

Secondary Network Interface devices provide additional network connections within a Matter Node, supporting multiple interfaces for Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or Thread. They prioritize connectivity based on endpoint numbers and enhance network flexibility with diagnostic support.

The Secondary Network Interface device category in the Matter ecosystem provides a supplementary network interface to support Nodes with multiple connections. Each Node includes a primary interface on the Root Node endpoint, while additional interfaces, if available, are hosted on secondary endpoints.
