A color-rich smart ceiling light with dual lighting zones and customizable rhythm settings for immersive ambiance and practical illumination.

The Govee RGBWW + RGBIC Smart Ceiling Light (Model H60A1) offers a dynamic blend of vibrant mood lighting and functional brightness control. Its main light combines RGB and warm white (WW) LEDs for broad-spectrum coverage, while the backlight uses RGBIC technology to add layered, multicolored accents that brighten the surrounding ceiling. With fully adjustable brightness (0%–100%) and a wide color temperature range from 2200K to 6500K, this ceiling light adapts seamlessly to any time of day or mood. Smart integration with Alexa and the Govee Home App allows for group or individual control, along with access to over 70 preset scenes and music-reactive lighting modes. A custom circadian rhythm feature enables the light to automatically adjust color and brightness to match your natural sleep-wake cycle.

Not a review, but a question... I bought 3 of these H60A1 Govee Ceiling Lights Nov 2024. There was chatter on Reddit about Govee possibly upgrading the firmware in the future (Sept 2024) to support Matter. Below on this page, what does this "Software Version 29.0" mean? What is version 29.0 "certified" on Feb 27, 2025? Does this mean Govee is actively working on adding Matter to this device that started selling on Amazon May 6, 2024? Where does the info come from on this website to say this H60A1 device was just 29.0 certified Feb 27, 2025? I'm really hoping this is good news and will get a firmware update in the Govee app for this ceiling light to work with Matter soon! It apparently has the hardware capable of supporting matter (wifi/bluetooth). Also, I'm not the only one that's found that this Govee H60A1 Ceiling Light has a glitch in it's firmware and it incorrectly broadcasts as a Matter device called "Neon Rope Light 2" which does me no good as there's no setup code found anywhere to enter to make this work. I come to find out that they have two new ceiling lights, a Square H60A4 and a larger 15" Circle H60A6 (for TWICE the PRICE!!!) and both of them are Matter compatible. Like their firmware just needs to be tweaked to correct this and display the Matter setup code, and we'd by all good and happy? Fingers crossed.
