Smart lighting manufacturer Govee has announced a new line of smart floor lamps with Matter support. This product series includes three lamp models: the Uplighter Floor Lamp, Torchiere Floor Lamp, and Tree Floor Lamp, each intended to address different home lighting scenarios and room configurations.
Govee Uplighter Floor Lamp
The highlight of the new series is the Uplighter Floor Lamp, a model featuring three individually controllable lighting zones.
The upper zone creates a ripple effect for wall-washing ambiance, such as ocean waves and northern lights, while the middle area offers RGB color adjustments.
The lower section provides adjustable white warm illumination, capable of delivering brightness up to 1,000 lumens, with customizable color temperature to suit personal preferences.
Govee Torchiere Floor Lamp
The Torchiere Floor Lamp emphasizes general diffuse lighting suitable for living spaces like bedrooms or common family areas. It features three independently adjustable RGB zones, allowing users to project colored lighting onto nearby walls or ceilings, thereby creating ambient illumination.
According to Govee, the lamp can provide ceiling-washing lighting coverage for up to 16 square meters.
Govee Tree Floor Lamp
The Tree Floor Lamp, the third offering in the lineup, features a modular construction with three independently adjustable arms. This design provides flexibility for users dealing with challenging room shapes, corners, or regularly changing furniture arrangements, and follows the impressive Govee Floor Lamp 2.
The Tree Floor Lamp offers the highest lumen output among the three models, delivering up to 1,500 lumens. This makes it suitable as either a primary or supplementary light source, depending on users’ needs.
Operating on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, all three models integrate with popular voice assistants via Matter – and supports synchronization to music, user-defined lighting scenes with DreamView and Music Mode. Users can also make basic automations like schedule via the Govee Home app.
Certified as Matter Extended Color Light, users can access essential features, including On/Off, RGB controls, color temperature, and brightness adjustments through Matter platforms, as specified by the certification.
All three newly announced floor lamps will be available starting June 30 through Govee’s official website and select retailers. The Uplighter Floor Lamp is priced at $179.99, the Torchiere Floor Lamp at $149.99, and the modular Tree Floor Lamp at $169.99.
