If you’re looking for a connected solution to brightening up your garden or home exterior at dusk and later in the evening, the new Govee Outdoor Spotlights Lite are now available as a potential solution.

More affordable than the Govee Outdoor Spotlights 2, the Outdoor Spotlights Lite have a slightly different mount and lower lumen count, as well as fewer scene modes. But like the newer, top-tier alternative, they’re controllable over Matter.

Brighten the place up a bit

Capable of shining warm or cool white beams, or switching to more atmospheric RGB tones, the Govee Outdoor Spotlights Lite are equipped with adjustable mounts and ship with 4.7-inch ground stakes.

Measuring 2.32 inches by 3.19 inches, the Govee Outdoor Spotlights Lite have a 180-degree angle of adjustment. The lamps require mains power, via a Class A GFCI weatherproof socket enclosure, but are IP67 waterproof rated and designed to handle rain and dust alike. These spotlights should operate within temperatures ranging -4℉ to 113℉ (-20℃ to 45℃).

Govee Outdoor Spotlights Lite boxed with mobile app

The RGBWIC colors can be controlled via the dedicated app, with Matter support for integrations. Over 60 scene modes are included to enhance your yard, garden, or point at your house, and these can be accessed or adjusted in the Govee app. So, you can switch between a multicolor rainbow of tones, bright whites, or warmer, muted tones – whichever suits your lawn/flower bed/driveway/whatever.

Govee has a whole host of outdoor lights, which we would recommend you familiarize yourself with before purchasing. Path lights, decking lights, Chromatic String Lights (our review) and many others are available. With enough safe outdoor power outlets, you could have quite the evening light show!

What you get with Govee Outdoor Spotlights Lite

For the $99.99 RRP you get four spotlights, each separated by 9.8 feet (2.98 meters), which allows for useful spacing. The cable from the power outlet to the first spotlight is 16.3 feet (4.97 meters), and I think this distance can prove useful not just in reaching the right point in your garden but in aiding in an attractive arrangement for the Govee Outdoor Spotlights Lite.

Also included in the box are the power adapter and control box, a hex key (Allan key), manual, and the four ground stakes. If the standard $99.99 option doesn’t give you enough spotlights for your exterior plans, Govee has a 2x option, for $199.98, with four spotlights.

Govee offers a one-year limited warranty for the Govee Outdoor Spotlights Lite, which are currently available in Govee’s US and European stores.
