xCREAS Cyclone400 Matter Smart Air Purifier now available on Amazon

After quietly appearing in our product database last September and gaining its Matter certification earlier this year, the xCREAS Cyclone400 Smart Air Purifier is now available for purchase. The latest Matter-compatible air purifier offers seamless smart home connectivity, convenient remote controls, and hands-free automatic cleaning capabilities.

xCREAS Cyclone400 Smart Air Purifier: why it matters

Similar to the AiDot WELOV P200 Pro, the xCREAS Cyclone400 features a tall, rounded rectangle chassis that is designed for stationary placement on the floor. The new air purifier measures 10.83 x 10.82 x 21.19 inches while weighing just under 9 pounds, and the entire package sports a two-tone white and black plastic finish.

On the front of the Cyclone400 is a small LCD that displays the current operating mode, fan speeds, wireless connectivity, and power state. In addition, the onboard display relays air quality conditions thanks to a built-in PM 2.5 sensor that provides real-time numerical measurements and also provides them with an easy-to-see color status ring.

According to xCREAS, the Cyclone400's removable HEPA filter and fan are capable of reaching a 400 Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) and can be used in rooms of all sizes. In larger rooms, the Cyclone400 can clean up to 2,580 square feet in 60 minutes, and in smaller rooms, it purifies up to 516 square feet in as little as 12 minutes.

Although details are scarce, the xCREAS Cyclone400 appears to rely on Matter-over-Wi-Fi for its connection to various smart ecosystems like Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings, and Apple Home. And, while the company's marketing materials prominently state "No Extra Apps Required", xCREAS presumably has its own app offering too, with multiple screenshots depicting setting fan speeds, viewing filter status and history, and creating routines shown.
