SmartSetup Smart Switch

This is a Matter-certified Thread wall switch with a tempered glass touch panel, built to control lights or other wired loads while keeping things local. Once it’s paired through a Thread border router, it can show up in Apple Home (Siri), Google Home (Google Assistant), Amazon Alexa, and Samsung SmartThings, so you’re not stuck picking one “team” for your house. Because it talks over Thread, it also helps your mesh: it can extend range by acting as a Thread repeater, which is the kind of behind-the-scenes detail that makes a smart home feel less temperamental.

On the wiring side, it supports installs with or without a neutral wire, which matters in older homes where the wall box often doesn’t have one. The switch reports real-time on/off status back to your controller, so automations and scenes don’t have to guess whether something is actually running. It also includes timer functions and scene modes, plus overload and overheat protection for safety. The face is capacitive touch, so there aren’t mechanical buttons to wear out, and it draws about 0.5W on standby.
