Tedee GO2

Tedee GO2 keeps the outside of your door unchanged and upgrades the inside. You slide the unit over your existing European cylinder, nest it onto your key, then tighten three screws. The motor turns the key for you, which means the handle, escutcheon, and usual routine all stay familiar, only smarter and quieter than before.

Day to day, your phone becomes the key. The lock can secure the door after you leave and open as you return, and you can share virtual keys from the Tedee app on a schedule or for ongoing access. Add a Tedee Bridge to see live activity, control the lock when you are away, and link it with Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Homey, FIBARO, and Loxone.

Check the cylinder first. It must have an emergency function where two inserted keys rotate together. GO2 also fits cylinders compatible with Tedee PRO and can work with deadbolt or oval mortise setups when paired with the GO2 bar adapter. If you want rechargeable power, use Tedee’s own cells; many standard rechargeables peak under 2.5 A and may not drive the motor reliably.
