With Alexa+ early access, the device delivers more personalized help—from discovering new shows and identifying songs to generating recipe suggestions, making reservations, or ordering groceries. The built-in smart home hubconnects directly to thousands of devices, while Omnisense sensing allows routines to trigger based on presence, temperature, or visual ID.

A centered auto-framing camera with 3.3x zoom and noise reduction ensures natural, crystal-clear video calls. When not in use, the Echo Show 8 doubles as a digital photo frame, with Alexa able to search for specific photos or build curated slideshows. Privacy is safeguarded with camera/mic disable controls and dedicated on-device and in-app protections.
