Aqara Smart Lock U400

The Aqara Smart Lock U400 introduces UWB (Ultra-Wideband) technology to home access, enabling precise, hands-free unlocking as an authorized user approaches the door. With centimeter-level location accuracy and spatial awareness, the lock unlocks only when someone is outside and intentionally arriving, reducing false or accidental unlocks. It is Aliro-ready, designed to work across future devices and platforms regardless of brand or operating system.

In addition to UWB access, the U400 supports multiple unlocking options, including NFC, fingerprint recognition, personal passcodes, mobile apps, voice assistants, and mechanical keys. Integration with Apple Home Key allows iPhone or Apple Watch users to unlock the door simply by approaching, without taking out their device.

Built on Thread and certified for Matter, the U400 works across major smart home ecosystems and does not require a dedicated Aqara hub. A built-in gyroscope enables automatic locking after the door is closed, while the weather-resistant design and rechargeable battery make it suitable for long-term outdoor use.
