LG Smart Thermostat

The LG Smart Thermostat manages home heating and cooling with a focus on comfort, energy awareness, and automatic climate adjustments. Its circular matte-glass design incorporates a 2.4-inch display showing current and target temperatures, with proximity-sensitive controls and brightness that responds to ambient light.

Integrated with Apple Home, the thermostat supports Adaptive Temperature, which uses home activity states and iPhone-based arrival predictions to adjust heating or cooling automatically. Rather than relying entirely on fixed schedules, it can respond to whether occupants are home, sleeping, away, or away for an extended period.

Apple's Clean Energy Guidance provides information about periods when grid electricity is relatively cleaner, helping homeowners make informed choices about energy consumption. Built-in temperature and humidity sensing monitors local room conditions, while compatible LG sensors, HomePod sensors, and Apple HomeView sensors can extend climate awareness into additional rooms.

The thermostat supports a broad range of residential heating and cooling equipment, including conventional furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and fan coil units.
