SwitchBot Lock Ultra is a stick-on retrofit lock with a tidier, flush design, so there’s no exposed thumbturn cluttering your door. The aluminum alloy shell looks neat, and a bigger Quick Key button means you can tap to unlock with an elbow when your hands are full. It tracks lock and door status in real time, and it can switch to a quiet mode at night so late arrivals don’t wake the house. If you use European cylinders, it supports both partial and full locking, which is handy for quick exits by day and full security at night. 

Power is the headline: Lock Ultra runs a main rechargeable pack, keeps a cold-resistant CR123A as a backup, and holds a small reserve in a supercapacitor. If the main battery is charging or nearly empty, the backup systems keep the motor ready so you can still get in. You’ll also see low-battery alerts in the app and on the device. Location-aware auto-unlock uses your phone’s GPS and Bluetooth to let the door open as you arrive, and if you want platform control, it works with Apple Home and other apps through a SwitchBot Matter Hub.
