Apple HomePod mini 2 is a compact smart speaker designed to deliver rich 360-degree sound while acting as a voice-controlled assistant for the home. Powered by the Apple S10 chip, its computational audio system adjusts sound in real time for balanced listening. The new Sound Glow feature adds synchronized lighting effects that respond to music, album artwork, and ambient soundscapes.
HomePod mini 2 supports stereo pairing, multiroom audio, and four-speaker surround sound when paired with the new Apple TV 4K. Siri AI, arriving through a future software update, will provide more natural conversations, personalized music discovery, and assistance with everyday tasks. The speaker also works as a smart home hub, supporting voice-controlled accessories, automations, and smoke or carbon monoxide alarm recognition.
