Lafaer Presence Sensor LWR02

The Lafaer LWR02 is a compact wireless smart home sensor combining human presence, motion, temperature, humidity, and ambient light detection in one device. Using 24 GHz millimeter-wave (mmWave) radar and passive infrared (PIR) technology, it detects both subtle movements and everyday activity for more accurate room occupancy monitoring.

Unlike traditional motion sensors, the LWR02 can recognize small movements, such as breathing, even when someone is sitting still. This helps prevent connected lights from switching off unexpectedly while reading, working, or relaxing. Its dual-sensing technology also reduces false triggers from curtains, fans, and small pets.

Built-in temperature, humidity, and light sensors enable smarter lighting and climate automation based on room conditions. With an IPX3 splash-resistant housing, the sensor is suitable for bedrooms, living rooms, home offices, kitchens, and bathrooms.

Its discreet white design features an adjustable magnetic base for flexible positioning. Powered by two AAA batteries, the LWR02 provides up to two years of battery life without requiring a nearby electrical outlet.

Supporting Matter over Thread, the sensor integrates with Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Samsung SmartThings, Home Assistant, and Homey through a compatible Thread border router. Local communication helps protect privacy while enabling responsive, energy-efficient smart home automation.
