If you have ever looked at your ceiling and thought to yourself "what I need is a brand new ambient lamp with Wi-Fi, RGBICWW LEDs, and integration with my preferred smart home ecosystem over Matter" then Switchbot has just released exactly what you need.

The SwitchBot RGBICWW Ceiling Light has just dropped on Amazon and SwitchBot's website, comes in two sizes, and there's also an optional presence sensor option.

What does the SwitchBot RGBICWW Ceiling Light do (apart from glow)?

Yes, it's a ceiling light, but thanks to its array of LEDs and smart home functionality, it's a bit more interesting than whatever is illuminating your spaces right now.

Matter-over-Wi-Fi support is included in this light, which means the SwitchBot RGBICWW Ceiling Light can be controlled using Apple Home, Home Assistant, Homey, Alexa, Samsung SmartThings and Google Assistant without the SwitchBot hub. (That’s very useful, as the SwitchBot Hub 3 is around $99, which would make this an expensive light fitting!)

Inside the lamp is a collection of RGBICWW LEDs covering multicolor and warm and cool white LEDs, with a 2700K-6500K color temperature range, and 1% to 100% dimming. The SwitchBot RGBICWW Ceiling Light has flicker-free, glare reduced lighting and support for gradual transitions (on and off) and a power-off memory. It supports automations via Present Sensor, Video Doorbell, Lock Ultra, and Lock Vision devices, which offers a number of useful integrations, not least switching off when someone you don’t want to speak to approaches the house…

The SwitchBot RGBICWW Ceiling Light also includes 26 preset scenes, as well as 8 lighting effects. It also supports schedules and routines, and you can control it via the SwitchBot app, using your voice with your chosen Matter-compatible ecosystem. So, you can issue commands based on the presets or any schedules, routines, or integrations you set up, potentially removing any need to press a button to switch it on or off. But if you do need to, it connects to your existing lighting circuit, with a screw-mounted white painted metal housing finished off with the diffuser.

Where you can find the SwitchBot RGBICWW Ceiling Light

Available from today (June 29, 2026), the SwitchBot RGBICWW Ceiling Light can be picked up from the SwitchBot website or Amazon. Pricing starts at USD 49.99 / CAD 69.99 / GBP 49.99.

It’s available in two models, 15-inch (3200 lumens, ideal for bedrooms and other large spaces) and 12-inch (2000 lumens, more suited to bathrooms and hallways), and both are 52mm thick, which is around 2 inches. The 15-inch model ships with the SwitchBot Presence Sensor, making it an excellent addition to landings and stairways, particularly if you need to see where you're going in the dead of night...
