TV Backlight 3 Lite (34% off, Amazon)
The Govee TV Backlight 3 Lite uses a webcam to "watch" your TV screen, analyzing the content in real time to match the on-screen colors, and produce an Ambilight-style backlight effect that extends beyond the edges of your TV. When it works right, it's brilliant — and the webcam approach means it'll work even if you use your TV's built-in streaming services.
However, compared to HDMI signal-capture boxes like the Govee AI Sync Box, the Backlight 3 Lite can be prone to visual artifacts from reflections and other light sources. Three different lengths are available to suit a variety of TV sizes, but the 55-65 inch kit is currently less than $60. The Backlight 3 Lite can also act as a DreamView controller, meaning that you can any other compatible Govee light fixtures in your room to extend the reactive display further.

Surprisingly easy to fit, the Permanent Outdoor Lights Pro will survive all weathers and offer up to 50 lumens per module, adding a dramatic flair to any seasonal display thanks to the usual selection of scenes and even audio-reactive modes.
Thought they don’t quite have the dynamic triple-light effect of the Outdoor Prism Lights that we reviewed, the Outdoor Lights Pro (non-Pro model pictured in the scene above) are still a fantastic way to light up your entire home. A 100ft string in black or white with 60 LED modules are $280, but the discount applies to longer strings, too, of up to 200ft. The Outdoor Lights Prism also also a part of Prime Day deals, though at a less impressive 25% off, putting the equivalent 100ft kit at a cool $400.
RBGIC Floor Lamp Basic (40% off, Amazon)
At $60, there’s nothing basic about this 54-inch tall, slim RBGIC Floor Lamp. It’s great to pair with the AI Sync Kit or TV Backlight to extend the DreamView light display into the corner of your room, with a soothing wash-style light profile won’t interfere with your movie watching — and it’s available in black, silver, champagne, or blue to match your decor.
The Floor Lamp Basic outputs up to 1000 lumens in adjustable warm or cool white modes, as well as separate RGB output.
Ceiling Light Pro (31% off, Amazon)
At $89.99, the Ceiling Light Pro offers 4300 lumens of white output, plus RGB, in a 15-inch round slimline package. It’ll add some brilliant overhead ambience to any room, and the price is unbeatable. An LED ring light around the top also ensures your ceiling isn't left out, with scenes extended around the edge (though you disable one or the other, if desired).
It’s not the same as the Ceiling Light Ultra that we recently reviewed as it won’t display pixel animations, but unlike the standard Ceiling Light model, the Pro device can display gradients and multiple colors at once.
The Ceiling Light Pro would also make a brilliant addition to your movie-watching DreamView scenes, enhancing visuals to cover your whole room.
Smart Outdoor String Lights 2 (37% off, Amazon)
Starting at $78 for the 44ft string, the Outdoor String Lights 2 offer up to 100 lumens per bulb, and they're perfect for those who want a more traditional look and feel to their outdoor lighting, draped around a pergola or outdoor seating area with IP65 rating for year-round use (just make sure you've got a secure outdoor socket). While Matter support isn't explicitly listed on the packaging, they are certified and you should be able to generate a pairing code in the app after updating the firmware.
Worth noting, these are not the same as the Outdoor Chromatic bulbs that we reviewed earlier this year; these cannot display multicolor scenes within a single bulb, and can only show one color. Each bulb on the string can be a different color, but not multiple colors within the same bulb.
