EPSON Projector EH-LS5000

The Epson Home Cinema LS5000 is a laser home-theater projector designed for large-format 4K HDR movies, gaming, and widescreen entertainment. Epson’s 3-chip 3LCD projection engine pairs with a laser-array light source to produce equal 2,500-lumen color and white brightness, avoiding the color-wheel approach used by many projectors. Its 4K Display Technology puts 8.29 million pixels on screen, while 10-bit processing supports HDR, HDR10, and HLG content.

A key strength is its ability to fill very large screens while retaining a cinema-oriented presentation. The Epson Cinema Lens supports images up to 300 inches and accommodates formats ranging from conventional 16:9 HDTV to 21:9 widescreen. An 800,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio is intended to preserve darker shadow detail and separation between bright and dark portions of a scene.

The LS5000 is also suited to modern gaming systems. Its two HDMI ports handle 4K HDR signals at refresh rates up to 120 Hz, with Auto Low Latency Mode and specified input lag below 20 ms. One HDMI connection supports eARC for passing high-quality audio to a compatible sound system. Bluetooth 6.0 can additionally stream two-channel audio from HDMI sources to compatible devices such as headphones.
