Tapo S515 is a smart Wi-Fi light switch with Matter support. Once paired in the Tapo app, you can add it to Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, or Google Home through Matter, then control the circuit with Siri, Alexa, or Google Assistant. Remote control works in the Tapo app when you’re away, while local voice or app control handles the day-to-day at home.
Automation is straightforward. Set schedules for fixed on/off times, or use Away Mode to randomly toggle the load so your lighting doesn’t follow a rigid pattern. If you own Tapo sensors, you can create simple rules: motion detected, turn on; no motion for a while, turn off. The device behaves like a standard wall switch when pressed, with the added network features layered on top.
