The UniFi SuperLink Gateway HA serves as the communication hub for UniFi Protect sensors, combining long-range SuperLink wireless technology with a built-in Thread border router. It enables a single gateway to support both security sensors and Thread-enabled smart devices.

With SuperLink communication reaching up to 2 km (1.2 miles) in line-of-sight conditions, the gateway is well suited for large homes, commercial buildings, warehouses, and campus environments where sensors are spread across wide areas. Designed for reliability, it features LTE failover to help maintain connectivity during network outages and an internal battery backup that keeps the gateway running through temporary power interruptions. It supports up to 96 SuperLink devices and 128 Thread devices, with a built-in status display and wall or DIN rail mounting options for flexible installation.
