The Aqara Spatial Multi-Sensor FP400 uses mmWave radar and AI algorithms to provide detailed spatial awareness in rooms with multiple occupants. It tracks the real-time position and posture of up to ten people simultaneously, distinguishing whether occupants are standing, sitting, or lying down. This level of detail enables more responsive automation and situational awareness in both residential and commercial spaces.
Designed for larger areas, the FP400 covers spaces up to 10 × 8 meters and supports fine-grained zone positioning using small grid definitions. When mounted on a wall or ceiling, it can also detect falls across multiple occupants while allowing exclusion zones to reduce false alerts, making it suitable for environments such as homes, offices, and healthcare settings. A built-in light sensor adds ambient illuminance data for context-aware automations.
With Thread and Zigbee connectivity, the FP400 is Matter-enabled and integrates across major smart home platforms. Flexible mounting options and AI-assisted zone mapping simplify deployment while enabling precise room boundary and entry detection.
