Instead of dedicated hardware, this version installs directly on compatible systems such as Raspberry Pi, Linux machines, Docker environments, or NAS devices. It delivers the same Homey interface and automation engine used in Homey Pro, allowing you to manage devices, create Flows and Advanced Flows, and monitor energy usage from one unified dashboard.
It supports Matter, LAN, and cloud-connected devices out of the box. For Zigbee, Z-Wave, Bluetooth, 433 MHz, and Infrared, it works together with Homey Bridge units that provide wireless connectivity. Automations run locally on your machine, maintaining performance and control within your own infrastructure.
